Puerto Vallarta Mexico Royal Decameron Resort Vacation Spot

Visiting the Royal Decameron Resort in Peurto Vallarta Mexico for our two week honeymoon was the best vacation we have ever taken. The rooms were kept very clean and the service was impeccable. The meals were always fresh and delicious. All of the restaurants were by reservation only but the buffet was always open for walk ins. If hunger struck before the next meal was served, the snack bars were open and waiting with french fries, burgers and all sorts of other smaller treats. Whether you are into laying poolside drinking Che Che's all day, swimming in the ocean or getting out there and living it up with as many activities as possible, the staff will make sure you have everything you need. With so many activities to take part in, my husband and I were only able to do a select few. Amongst those few was a romantic evening called Rhythms Of The Night, an underwater adventure of Snorkeling, a fun filled day of hiking and zip lining and a day of fishing for my husband while I spent a relaxing afternoon at the spa.

Rhythms Of The Night was a perfect romantic evening. It started out with a boat ride out to a small little island where a buffet was set up with absolutely delicious food including perfectly cooked ma he ma he. The table set outside were beautifully decorated with white table linens, candles and flowers. After the meal was finished there was enough time to wonder about the island and take in all the scenery. When everyone was finished we were led down a path and seated on benches facing a large stage. The show that was performed is considered a sacred ritual so taking pictures was not allowed but take my word for it, the performance was absolutely amazing.

Snorkeling

Having never been snorkeling before, it was a true fantastic experience. The water was so clear and there were so many different things to see. The boat ride out was fun as usual, the crew always put on such a fun show to keep everyone entertained. We had a great time indeed. The only thing i can say i did not like about the experience is that there were so many people with us. Next time we plan to hire a private boat. That way we can hog the full experience to ourselves. Other than getting kicked in the face by another snorkeler we had the time of our lives.

Zip Lining

While Rhythms Of The Night and snorkeling were both fantastic, I would have to say that zip lining was my favorite excersion. Of course, it started out with a boat ride to our destination. That was followed by a short bus ride then we were put on donkeys to take us up the mountain. Who ever thought they would ride a donkey up the side of a hill? I found the experience hilarious. Once we reached the top of the mountain and were dismounted from the donkeys, the real fun began. Zip lining is a rush like no other and a great workout. We had so much fun we didn't want it to end. Of course you are not allowed to take your cameras because they will get wet or smashed so they are sure to take great pictures for you.
